As a wildlife photographer, like most photographers, I own multiple packs and am always searching for one that fits my travel-and-light packing needs. While my Fstop Tilopa is a fabulous wildlife-photography-specific pack, I sometimes find it a bit too large and bulky, and there are many trips where I need something just as capable when less equipment is required. I want something that can carry a serious amount of gear without becoming bulky, awkward, or a burden to travel with. The YETI 22L Ranchero comes close to that ideal, and it has proven to be a strong option for the way I transport my camera equipment.
